Turn off the power of the scanner and unplug the power cord from the out-
let.

Wipe all around the Feed Roller with a tightly wrung cloth, by turning the
roller with your fingers.
1. Feed Roller
Note
❒ Always make sure to clean the Feed Roller after scanning a document writ-
ten in pencil or other material that is not firmly fixed to the paper. Failure
to clean the Feed Roller can cause soiling of the next document scanned.
